Collected my "Lovey Dovey" wedding favor today, finally... Was extremely busy at work these few weeks, due to the high volume of weddings happening during these few months. Actually, this was expected as this period of the year is usually the "peak period" of the year for weddings, meaning that most couples would be getting married at this time of the year - End November to End February. But what adds on to the work level of the year is this - My very own wedding is this coming Saturday! Super excited at the thought of this!
Some time last month, I was browing through some wedding favor websites in search for a suitable wedding favor for my wedding. I was surprised to come across this item named "Lovey Dovey Letter Opener" on SG Wedding Favor website (http://www.sgweddingfavors.com/). It is a letter opener shaped into the shape of a dove. After some discussion with Pei Lin, we decided to buy this as our wedding favor due to the following reasons:
1) It is practical in our daily activities - It can be used in our daily activities, rather than being left at a corner after the wedding banquet.
2) It can be used for other purposes - Other than using it as a letter opener, it also serves other purposes. (Eg. Bookmark, Decorative items etc)
3) It is affordable - Since we are buying in bulk, price is a very important factor to consider.
4) It is available in Singapore - there is no need to worry about the delay in shipping or transportation as it is available locally.
5) It is meaningful - Dove shape of the gift reminds you of a loving couple..
6) The packaging is very delicate - A good packaging gives one a good impression. Having a good packaging for wedding favor makes your wedding feel more "elegant and classy".
Since I am near the location of the wedding favor shopfront at noon, I decided to pop by the shop to make my purchase. And since meetup is by appointment only, I called the shop to book an appointment at 3.00pm. After having my lunch at Clementi, I headed to Bukit Merah Central (since the shopfront is located there) for the appointment.

Inside the box, the Dove perches elegantly on a branch. On the packaging, there are two birds, which signify you as a loving couple. On the back of the gift box is a message that reads, "White winged messengers set free today, are sent with blessings that will never fade away"
