Food Delights...

Went to "pat tor" today at Ang Mo Kio Hub. Was passing by Prima Deli and was attracted to their cupcakes. Can't help it because they were so cute. Wanted to buy all (because of the cute designs) but Hui Xin said that it would be a waste if we couldn't finish all of them, so I only bought one...

No fanciful packaging, no big bang promotion, but they are selling it for $2.20 per piece...(wallet oozing blood)

Actually Pine Gardens also have similar products, but their price is more cheaper than Prima Deli. Maybe because they are more neighbourhood based???
Also got Hui Xin a slice of expensive $3.50 strawberry shortcake...(wallet bleeding)

Chinese New Year Decorations...

Started spring cleaning for my house. And now, IT'S TIME FOR DECORATIONS!
Went to Chinatown today to get my mom some new clothes for my cousin, Ben's wedding next month. Then we go shop for decorations.
And I am so kan chiong to paste them all over the house... Haha...

Otto Birthday + Atinee Last Day

Am I supposed to be happy or sad today???
It's Otto's birthday today. There's no fanciful birthday cakes, no cream puffs nor any presents. But, there seems to be sadness around...
Was feeling down today. It's not only me, but also all the friends at Lookers Music Cafe. Today turns out to be Atinee's last day of work in the pub, and she's returning to Thailand tomorrow afternoon.
Strangely, I also felt like crying when the band announced her last day of work and ... started crying. Maybe it's because of the fact that we had celebrated 3 birthdays together, and they cheered me up whenever I felt down and of course, we were friends.
Had such a strong feeling of sadness when memories of the time when they celebrated my birthday for me flashed through my mind as I sipped my mixture of Martell and Coke. However, the feeling got better when Atinee gave me her email in order for me to stay in touch with her in future. I wish her all the best in the future...
